R&C Psychiatry on Pines Boulevard

Our founding office, serving Broward County since opening

9050 Pines Blvd, Suite 150 is where R&C Psychiatry started, and it remains our largest office. Six licensed providers work here, which is why this location carries the widest range of treatment on offer: everything available in Miami, plus Exomind advanced neuromodulation, which is installed only at this site.

Care is available in English and Spanish. Patients arrive from across Broward and northern Miami-Dade, many after years of treatment elsewhere that never quite worked, and the first thing we give them is a longer appointment than they are used to.

Exomind Advanced Neuromodulation

The one treatment unique to this location

Exomind is an AI-guided targeted neuromodulation platform, and Pembroke Pines is the only R&C office where it is installed. Sessions are shorter than a standard TMS course and the full protocol runs to fewer visits, which suits patients for whom a six to nine week daily schedule is impractical.

It is not automatically the better choice. Standard TMS has the longer evidence base and broader insurance coverage, and for many patients it is the right route. Your clinician will explain the trade-off rather than defaulting to the newer machine.

Where our Pembroke Pines patients come from

Pines Boulevard puts us within a short drive of Miramar, Hollywood, Davie, Cooper City, Weston, Southwest Ranches, and Fort Lauderdale, and we see patients from across Broward County. Northern Miami-Dade patients, particularly from Hialeah and Miami Lakes, also reach this office easily.

If you are in western or central Miami-Dade, our Miami office on NW 107th Avenue is likely closer. Telehealth covers all of Florida for most appointment types.

Questions About Our Pembroke Pines Office

Common questions from patients in Broward County

01 What are your Pembroke Pines office hours?

We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00, and closed on Saturday and Sunday. Telehealth appointments are available within those hours too. Call (954) 872-0555 to book, and if you are running late for a booked appointment, call rather than assuming the slot has gone.

02 Where is the office and is there parking?

We are at 9050 Pines Blvd, Suite 150, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024, on Pines Boulevard, with parking available on site. Suite 150 is signposted from the main entrance. Call (954) 872-0555 if you have accessibility questions before your first visit and we will tell you exactly what to expect.

03 How many providers work at this location?

Six licensed clinicians, led by Dr. Roberto Carmona, DNP, PMHNP-BC as CEO and Dr. Virginia Contreras, MD as Medical Director. Between them they cover evaluation and prescribing, child and adolescent psychiatry, neuromodulation, and psychotherapy, which is why therapy and medication can be coordinated inside the practice.

04 What is available here that is not available in Miami?

Exomind, our AI-guided targeted neuromodulation platform, is installed only at Pembroke Pines. Everything else, including standard TMS therapy and Spravato, is available at both offices. If you are a Miami patient and Exomind is clinically indicated for you, we arrange those sessions here.

05 Do you see patients in Spanish?

Yes. R&C Psychiatry is a bilingual practice and appointments at Pembroke Pines can be conducted in Spanish by the clinician treating you rather than through an interpreter. Tell us your preference when you book. That matters in psychiatry, where diagnosis depends on how precisely you can describe your own symptoms.

06 Can I switch between your two offices?

Yes. You are a patient of the practice rather than of a building, and your records move with you. Many patients have their evaluation at one office and follow-up by telehealth. Where a treatment is only offered at one site, such as Exomind at Pembroke Pines, we schedule those specific sessions accordingly.

What Broward County Patients Say

Individual results vary

Patient experiences are personal and are not a guarantee of any specific clinical outcome. The comments that recur most often concern appointment length, the fact that the clinician who evaluates you stays with your care, and being told the reasoning behind a diagnosis rather than just the conclusion.
