Insurance Questions

What patients ask us most often about coverage

01 Which insurance plans do you accept?

Both offices accept Medicare, Medicaid and major commercial plans. The Miami list is shown above by plan type. For Pembroke Pines, call (954) 872-0555 with your member ID and we will confirm your plan the same day.

02 How do I know if my plan is covered?

Call the office you plan to visit with your member ID. We verify your benefits before the visit and tell you the expected cost in advance, including any copay or deductible that applies.

03 Do both offices accept the same plans?

Mostly, but participation can differ by office and by provider, which is why each office has its own list. Confirm with the office you plan to visit, especially if you are choosing a specific clinician.

04 Is TMS therapy covered by insurance?

Standard TMS therapy is FDA-cleared for depression, anxious depression and OCD and is covered by most insurers when their criteria are met. We check your plan’s TMS requirements before treatment starts and walk you through any prior-authorization steps.

05 My plan is not listed. Can I still be seen?

Often, yes. Plan participation changes during the year and not every network is listed. Call us, we will check your benefits, and if we are out of network with your plan we will explain your options before you book.

06 What should I bring to my first appointment?

Your insurance card and a photo ID, a list of any psychiatric medications you have tried with doses and effects, and any previous records. If a referral or prior authorization is required by your plan, we will tell you when we verify your benefits.
